Snipping away all old contacts and connections. Feels good. I am free. Now I can say whatever I want ~ well, I always could, but there was the "fear" of what would be said or unsaid or done or undone.

I don't have to worry about being "black balled" by the Christian community, because I no longer have any affiliations professionally or otherwise with them... sigh. It feels so GOOD!

So... first topic of my new freedom... HELLO?! Equal rights for everyone! I can finally open my mouth and say, "I believe everyone ought to have equal rights!"

I'm reading a book called, "The Help". It's got me all fired up. I woulda been "that girl" that marched with Martin Luther King... I woulda been "that girl" that went into the "colored people's bathrooms". I woulda been "that girl" that sat at the back of the bus with "those people". That woulda been me.

And today, I'm "that girl" that stands up and says "let 'em get married!"

Beyla Sol

This adorable little puppy has found her new home. She's really Cheri's dog, but since we are in the same house ~ I'm kinda like the "step-mom". She's 10 weeks old and rOwDy! Jojo and Abby aren't too sure about her just yet... Might be because she bites them.

But her g'ma and g'pa Apple LOVE her! G'ma has already bought her lots of new toys and clothes. Auntie Vikki and Uncle Nick met her today and... of course... fell in love.

She's been replaced

I was driving today... My GPS lady was guiding me through unknown territory... and I had an "ah ha!" moment.



Back when they took away my time operator, I was devasted (see http://drkrista.blogspot.com/2007/09/time.html). She was a friendly voice and I've missed her terribly. But today I was driving and realized "She's been replaced!" NOW I have the GPS lady. And she talks to me whenever I'm in the car! I could bring her on my walks and she'd talk to me too!

So... She's been replaced with someone even better!

House of Hope

The shed is completed and HOPE loves her HOME. Here she is with her Christmas antlers on, nibbling on some hay. Sweet horse, she is. Although we call her a "dog" for the neighbors sake. I wrote the shed place and told them about this little mare and all we went through to get her home. They asked for a picture of the House of Hope. This is what I sent them... I think they might use it in their add! Hope is already building her legacy...

I'm certified NOW

I am officially certified to do equine assisted therapy! Yay! I am living my love and my passion!

Freedom

Christine O'Leary is IN da house! So excited for ALL that is happening with you Christine! I can't wait to join you at the event tonight! How cool that I get to be a part of something SO amazing and life changing.

And the road is calling ~ heading out tomorrow for another incredible "trip" filled with love, laughter and friends.
